A hearing panel of the Investment Dealers Association of Canada Quebec District has ordered the expulsion of iForum Securities Inc. from the association.

The panel held an expedited ex parte hearing on May 3.

On Nov. 30, 2005, iForum Securities was the subject of various orders by a hearing panel, including an order of immediate suspension. All of its client accounts were then transferred to another investment dealer.

iForum Securities is now in bankruptcy and a trustee has been appointed to liquidate its assets.

The order of expulsion of iForum, made on May 5, is effective immediately.
