Dynamic Funds and BlackRock Asset Management Canada Ltd. (both companies are based in Toronto) have jointly launched a suite of five ETFs. Dynamic iShares Active Preferred Shares ETF invests in the preferred shares of Canadian-based businesses. Dynamic iShares Active Crossover Bond ETF is meant to provide interest income and potential long-term capital growth through investments in North American fixed-income corporate securities. Marc-André Gaudreau will manage the active management portion of both ETFs. Dynamic iShares Active Global Dividend ETF invests in a diversified portfolio of global securities that pay, or are expected to pay, dividends. Dynamic iShares Active U.S. Dividend ETF invests in U.S.-based businesses that pay, or are expected to pay, a dividend or distribution. David Fingold and Peter Rozenberg manage both funds. Dynamic iShares Active Canadian Dividend ETF, managed by Don Simpson and Eric Mencke, invests mostly in Canadian equities that pay, or are expected to pay, a dividend or distribution.
