RBC Action Direct Inc. today introduced its online security guarantee for online investors, reinforcing its pledge to stand behind RBC’s online services with a 100% guarantee to fully reimburse clients for direct losses from their Action Direct accounts as a result of unauthorized transactions conducted through Action Direct’s online investing service.

“We do our utmost to make online investing safe and we want investors to have the best possible online experience,” said Doug Coulter, president and CEO of RBC Action Direct, in a news release. “Our online security guarantee provides our clients with the additional assurance that they are transacting in a safe and secure environment.”

The guarantee is part of RBC Financial Group’s ongoing efforts to raise public awareness about online security issues, and complements RBC Royal Bank of Canada’s online banking security guarantee, introduced in May 2006.
