Pacific & Western Credit Corp.’s wholly owned subsidiary, Pacific & Western Bank of Canada, opened its new funding office in Calgary in order to be in closer proximity to the Alberta and Western-based financial institutions and intermediaries that it helps to fund, announced David Taylor, President and CEO. of the parent company.

Heading up the office as vice president is Brian Conley. Conley has more than 30 years of banking experience with both Canadian and international chartered banks. Gordon Forsyth, as assistant vice president, is managing the lending team. Forsyth also has more than 30 years of leasing and commercial credit experience.

The team also includes account executives Roland Mueller and Michael Jonckheere. Mueller is a CGA with 20 years of banking exposure with significant strength in both syndicated and club deals. Mr. Jonckheere has recently received an Honours Business Degree from the University of Western Ontario and has experience in small business lending. Supporting the group with over 14 years of relevant experience is Miriam Macken.

“Having a Calgary location brings us closer to our existing Western-based relationships and will enhance our presence in Alberta and the West,” said Taylor.
