Montreal-based Pier 21 Asset Management Inc. is launching Parade Street Investments, a new proprietary investment product for institutional investors that will be home to select and exclusive global sub-advisors.
The new offering will be developed under the guidance of Pierre Collins, who joined Pier 21 as senior vice president and general manager of Parade Street on August 11. His seasoned experience as an institutional consultant particularly qualifies him to select and oversee sub-advisory partnerships, as well as to introduce these offerings to Canadian institutional investors.
Parade Street’s first partnership is with London-based global equity specialists, Taube Hodson Stonex Partners LLP (THS Partners). Established in 1997, this independent boutique’s ‘Global Compare and Contrast’ approach delivers a benchmark-agnostic portfolio of approximately 70 of the best and cheapest developed market, all-capitalization stocks across 15 growth themes.
“Parade Street Investments will continue to seek out sub-advisory partnerships that meet our clients’ evolving needs, and that fit with Pier 21’s mandate to bring skillful, effective investment expertise onto our playing field,” said Collins, in a release. “We will be adding further complementary strategies to the Parade Street offering as we move forward.”
Since its inception in 2005, Pier 21 has grown to $3 billion dollars in assets under management with its original suite of sub-advisers.
