AIC Ltd. today launched its new AIC Client Online service, which provides secure, Web-based access to individual account information.

Using the new service, investors can now see what AIC funds they hold, their current prices, their transaction history and account balances. All information is current and up-to-date. Clients can print and e-mail their account statements, transaction confirmations and “Duplicate” RRSP contribution receipts.

“This new service brings a new level of transparency to our relationship with our investors who can access their information 24 hours a day, 7 day a week,” said Michael Lee-Chin, chairman and CEO of AIC Ltd. “This is part of our on-going commitment to provide the best customer service.”

While all clients will continue to receive their annual statements through the mail, they must opt-in through AIC Client Online if they still want to receive paper copies of their semi-annual statements.

The new service is the latest Web-based service provided by AIC. AIC Advisor Online was launched in 2000 and AIC Dealer Online in 2001.
