TMX Group Ltd. (TSX:X) Tuesday announced the successful launch of its high performance equity trading engine, TMX Quantum XA on TSX Venture Exchange.

“Today marks another significant step forward for our technology team in serving Canada’s equity markets,” said Brenda Hoffman, senior vice president, group head of information technology, TMX Group.

“Following implementation on TSX Venture Exchange, our leading-edge trading engine TMX Quantum XA is now in operation across the more than 4,000 symbols listed on our markets,” Hoffman added.
