The BlackBerry Partners Fund LP, a $150-million venture capital fund formed to focus on applications and services for the BlackBerry platform and other mobile platforms, announced today that it has appointed Marc Faucher and Matt Golden to its investment team.

Faucher has previously held positions with Summerhill Venture Partners (formerly BCE Capital), Bell Mobility, McKenna Group and Ericsson Communications, gaining knowledge in both the communications domain and venture investing.

Golden has expertise in wireless operations as a founding member of Tira Wireless, as well as experience in early stage venture capital at Brightspark Ventures LP and law experience at Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt LLP.

“Marc and Matt add competencies that perfectly compliment the knowledge and experience currently resident within the members of the BlackBerry Partners Fund management team,” said Kevin Talbot, co-managing partner of the BlackBerry Partners Fund, in a release.
