Ontario’s Minister of Government Services has approved rules and amendments implementing fund governance. The rules came into effect on November 1.
On September 19, Ontario’s Minister of Government Services approved various rules, including: the national rule requiring independent review committees for investment funds; and OSC rule implementing the national rule; and, amendments to rules regarding mutual fund prospectus disclosure, investment fund continuous disclosure, the SEDAR rule, and the OSC rule concerning general prospectus requirements.
These rules and policies were previously published in a supplement to the bulletin on July 28, and are published again in this bulletin.
