Mackenzie Financial Corp. advises that MSP Maxxum Trust has received requests for the redemption of a total of 2,865,768 trust units, representing approximately 37% of the trust units currently outstanding.
For each trust unit redeemed, unitholders will receive an amount equal to the net realized proceeds per unit (as defined in the prospectus for the trust’s initial public offering), determined as of December 28, 2006 and paid on or before January 12, 2007.
