Norman MacDonald has been appointed to the position of vice president and portfolio manager at Invesco Trimark, the company announced on Monday.

Effective immediately, MacDonald joins the Trimark Canadian Resources Fund to work alongside its current manager, Rory Ronan.

MacDonald has more than 14 years of industry experience, including portfolio management responsibilities at the Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan Board, Beutel Goodman & Company Ltd. and Salida Capital Corporation.

He holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree from the University of Windsor and is a CFA charterholder.

“We’re excited to have Norman join us,” said Graham Anderson, chief investment officer at Invesco Trimark, in a statement. “He brings significant portfolio management expertise and is a great addition to our team.”
