Advocis, The Financial Advisors Association of Canada, announced today the relocation of their national office to 390 Queens Quay West, Suite 209, in Toronto, on February 23.
“After a lengthy and exhaustive search for appropriate new office space in the GTA, we are happy to announce that Advocis has found a new home,” said Roger McMillan, chairman of Advocis. “We look forward to continuing to service the needs of our members from the new location.”
The move was precipitated by the sale of the building in which Advocis is presently leasing space. The move will begin on Friday, February 23, with the closure of the office, including an interruption of the Advocis web site. Limited services will be available from February 26 to February 27 with full service returning on Wednesday, February 28.
“All efforts have been made to minimize any disruption of service to our members and we would like to thank our members in advance for their understanding during this move,” said McMillan.
He added that Advocis was successful in negotiating favourable terms for the new lease and the early termination of the current lease.
