The Investment Dealers Association of Canada is recommending that Canadian stock markets close early on Friday.
The IDA said such a move would be in conjunction with the Friday closure of all markets in the U.S. to commemorate the death of former US President Ronald Reagan. Markets in Canada would close at 1 p.m.
The TSX Group Inc., which operates Toronto markets, has not made an announcement regarding Friday.
