Acuity Funds Ltd. is asking unitholders to approve mergers involving four of its funds, the company said Thursday.
Acuity proposes to merge Acuity Global Equity Fund into Acuity Global Dividend Fund.
It also proposes to merge Acuity Pure Canadian Equity Fund into Acuity Canadian Equity Fund.
Notice of these unitholder meetings and an information circular will be mailed to applicable unitholders for meetings to be held on March 12.
If approved, the changes are expected to become effective by the end of March.
Acuity is a Toronto-based mutual fund manager and, together with Acuity Investment Management Inc., manages approximately $6 billion in assets on
behalf of mutual funds, pooled funds, closed-end funds, pension funds, foundations, and private clients.
