Gmarkets Inc. and Velocity Trade released of Velocity Trade’s Accelerator Foreign Exchange Trading Platform through Gmarkets Pilot Financial GPS, the two companies announced Tuesday.

Effective immediately, Gmarkets subscribers will have access to executable prices and liquidity provided by Velocity Trade.

“Gmarkets was founded to enable transparency and liquidity in the capital markets by providing superior content required for trading decisions. Partnering with Velocity Trade to deliver prices and liquidity in foreign exchange to Gmarkets’ clients furthers this goal,” said Robin Hanlon, president and CEO of Toronto-based Gmarkets Inc., in a release.

“Velocity Trade gives corporations and institutions the flexibility to control and manage cross border business and client foreign exchange transactions in real-time,” said Simon Law, director at Velocity Trade. “Together we offer a competitive source of real-time data and execution capability. We will be adding other asset classes in the near future.”

Gmarkets is a financial market data and technology company providing real-time market data in all asset classes and execution capability for foreign exchange.

Toronto-based Velocity Trade offers liquidity, execution and multiple deal types in all major currencies via platform based and phone-in global trading.
