The Montreal based fund dealer has named Ray Snoei and Nancy Schafer both as vice president and senior consultant, advisor relations. Additionally, Cindy Jenner-Cowan has taken on the new role of vice president, business quality.
Snoei most recently managed his own book of business. Over the years, he has built a fee-based business with a strong focus on education, client service, and community involvement including playing a significant role within his local Advocis chapter.
According to Performa, Snoei’s entrepreneurial and independent advisor background, as well as his focus on practice management will be extremely valuable to the firm and its advisors. He will work in Performa’s Toronto office and will service, support and develop Performa’s advisor base across Ontario.
Schafer joins Performa after having spent a number of years with a major fund dealer based in Western Canada. Prior to that, she spent a number of years in both fund wholesaling and the banking community. She will be located in Performa’s Calgary office and will be managing relationships with Performa’s Western Canadian advisors and prospective branch partners.
Cindy Jenner-Cowan, previously Performa’s regional vice president for the Pacific region, has accepted the newly created position of vice president, business quality. She will remain in Performa’s Vancouver office where she will provide tailored support to Performa’s branch partners.
