Statistics Canada says foreign investors bought $15 billion worth of Canadian securities in November.
Canadians, meanwhile, bought $2.8 billion in foreign securities, evenly split between stocks and bonds.
The agency says foreigners invested $88.2 billion in Canadian securities in the 11 months ending in November, while Canadians bought $14.7 billion in foreign securities.
Foreigners bought $6.2 billion in Canadian bonds in November, the biggest inflow since May.
They invested $5.7 billion in the Canadian money market and purchased $3.1 billion in Canadian stocks.
Canadians purchased $1.6 billion of foreign bonds in November as well as $1.5 billion worth of foreign equities.
They reduced their holdings of foreign money market instruments by $291 million in the month as the retirement of European government paper more than offset the acquisition of U.S. treasury bills.
