RBC Global Asset Management Inc. has launched three new funds, the company said Monday.

BlueBay Emerging Markets Corporate Bond Fund, RBC U.S. Mid-Cap Value Equity Fund and RBC U.S. Small-Cap Core Equity Fund, are now available for purchase by individual and institutional investors in Canada.

The emerging markets fund is sub-advised by BlueBay Asset Management and the U.S. equity funds are sub-advised by RBC Global Asset Management (U.S.).

said Doug Coulter, president of RBC Global Asset Management Inc.

BlueBay Emerging Markets Corporate Bond Fund invests primarily in debt securities of corporations based in emerging market countries. The fund is designed for investors seeking a combination of income and capital growth potential while looking to diversify the fixed income portion of their portfolios through exposure to emerging market debt securities.

The fund is sub-advised by BlueBay Asset Management. Acquired by RBC in 2010, BlueBay is a UK-based leading specialist manager of fixed income credit, offering long-only and alternative products across the major sub-asset classes of emerging markets, high yield, loans, convertibles and investment grade bonds.

RBC U.S. Mid-Cap Value Equity Fund invests primarily in equity securities of U.S. mid-cap companies that are deemed to be undervalued in order to provide broad exposure to economic growth opportunities in the equity markets. The fund is targeted at investors seeking exposure to growth opportunities in the U.S. market, or who are looking for a value component for the equity portion of their portfolios.

RBC U.S. Small-Cap Core Equity Fund invests primarily in equity securities of U.S. small-cap companies in order to provide broad exposure to economic growth opportunities in the equity markets. The fund is designed for investors seeking exposure to growth opportunities in the U.S. market, or who want to diversify their portfolios by market capitalization.

The funds are sub-advised by RBC Global Asset Management (U.S.), a registered investment adviser headquartered in Minneapolis, offering a range of investment specialties to institutional investors through both separate accounts and RBC funds.

The three new funds are available to individual investors through four low fee options: Series A, Advisor Series and Series F (available via financial advisors), and Series D (available via direct-to-client platforms, PH&N Investment Services and RBC Direct Investing).
