Bay Street rockers are aiming to raise funds in support of the Canadian Centre for Abuse Awareness.
Bay Street Rocks for Kids 2009 takes place Wednesday, May 13 at Grace O’Malley’s Irish Pub & Restaurant at 14 Duncan St., in Toronto.
The event features a performance by The Dealers, Bay Street’s homegrown rock & roll party band. The Dealers are: Mal Spooner, president and CEO of Mavrix Fund Management Inc.; Michael McIntosh of Barrington Capital Corp.; Adam Sherban, a bond trader with Dundee Securities Inc.; David Telewiak, an advisor with Raymond James Ltd.; Paul O’Brien, a corporate development consultant with Anthem Capital Group; and Craig Allardyce, a fixed income trader with Mavrix Funds.
Event coordinators are still looking to attract corporate sponsors. Platinum, gold and copper sponsorships are available for $1,000, $500 and $200, respectively.
Advanced tickets can be purchased for $10 each, and tickets at the door will be $20.
