The Mutual Fund Dealers Association of Canada has been recognized as a self-regulatory organization in New Brunswick.
As part of its recognition, the NBSC has decided not to suspend the MFDA rule regarding the use of personal corporations. However, it intends on reexamining this issue after further study.
The MFDA is also recognized as an SRO in: Alberta, BC, Nova Scotia, Ontario and Saskatchewan. Under the recognition orders, each jurisdiction has imposed terms and conditions on the recognition of the MFDA.
