RBC Financial Group today announced the appointment of Wendy Knight as its ombudsman. Knight replaces Keith Oosthoek, who retired January 31.

Since 1987, Knight has held various positions within RBC from commercial banking at the branch level to senior positions in commercial banking and risk management in Canada and Asia. Most recently, she was vp, group risk management, Western Canada.

The Office of the Ombudsman, which RBC established in 1995, provides an independent and impartial process for open discussion and voluntary resolution of conflicts brought forward by clients and employees of RBC Financial Group.
