CI Investments Inc. it has completed the merger of 16 mutual funds into other funds in the CI lineup, the company said Monday.

The mergers became effective after the close of business Friday, August 14.

Where required, the mergers were approved by securityholders in meetings held on August 10.

In addition, securityholders of Signature Corporate Bond Fund and Signature Corporate Bond Corporate Class approved a change in the funds’ investment objectives to permit increased exposure to investment-grade corporate bonds and to remove the restriction to invest mainly in Canadian securities.
