Invesco Trimark announced several changes to its portfolio management team on Monday.
The investment management company said Dana Love has assumed lead portfolio management responsibility for the Trimark Select Growth Fund, one of its global equity mutual funds. Love continues with his role as lead manager on Trimark Fund and will be joined on both funds by Heather Peirce. They will be supported by analysts Kevin Kaminski and Seungchan Lee.
Love joined Invesco Trimark in 1999. He earned an MSc in Finance from the London Business School and a BA in Sociology from the University of Waterloo. He is also a CFA charterholder.
Peirce joined the company in 2002. She holds a BA in Economics and Management Studies from the University of Waterloo.
The company said that Bruce Harrop, previously the lead manager of the Trimark Select Growth Fund and the Trimark Global Balanced Fund, agreed with the company that new leadership for was in the best interest of investors in the funds.
“The changes that we’ve announced today are part of our ongoing efforts to have the strongest team of investment professionals,” said Graham Anderson, chief investment officer at Invesco Trimark. “We’re pleased to have Darren rejoin our organization and to also recognize the contributions of long-standing members of our current team. We’d like to thank Bruce for his services and wish him the best in his future endeavours.”
Invesco Trimark also announced that Jeff Hyrich and Erin Greenfield have assumed portfolio management responsibilities for the equity portion of the Trimark Global Balanced Fund. The fixed-income team, comprised of Rex Chong, Anthony Imbesi, Gary Lew and Alfred Samson, will continue to manage the fixed-income portion of the fund.
Hyrich joined Invesco Trimark in 1999. He graduated from the University of Manitoba with a B.Comm. degree and also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
Greenfield joined the company in 2005. He earned a BBA (Hons.) from Wilfrid Laurier University, and holds the Chartered Accountant, Certified Management Accountant and Chartered Financial Analyst designations.
Invesco Trimark also announced on Monday that Darren McKiernan has re-joined the organization as vice-president and portfolio manager for the Trimark Global Dividend Class.
McKiernan has more than 14 years of investment management experience, including his role as senior research analyst for global equities at Trimark Investment Management Inc. from September 1997 to September 2000. He most recently held the position of vice-president at Burgundy Asset Management and was responsible for co-managing more than $1 billion in assets.
