Teachers Credit Union have selected the Qtrade Financial Group as their new partner for comprehensive wealth management services, including securities dealer, mutual fund dealer, investment and insurance services, the Hamilton, Ont. credit union said Tuesday.
“After an extensive due diligence process we are very excited to be moving forward with this wealth management partnership,” says Betty Gruba, Teachers Credit Union executive vice president.
“We see this long-term partnership as an opportunity to significantly enhance our current wealth management offering.”
Gruba says that Teachers Credit Union has communicated directly with participating members about the change to Qtrade, and looks forward to continuing to provide customized wealth management solutions to help each member achieve and sustain positive financial health.
Teachers serves over 15,000 members who are educational professionals, their family and friends and the general public.
Vancouver-based Qtrade provides comprehensive wealth management services and solutions to 180 financial institutions and their customers across Canada. It offers its financial institution partners a single source for wealth management products and services.
