Financial leaders and industry experts from North America, Asia and Europe are expected to gather at the inaugural ifiFORUM’09 Investment Funds Industry Conference, which will be held in Toronto’s Roy Thomson Hall on October 15-16.
Jim Flaherty, Minister of Finance, is among the speakers scheduled to address ifiFORUM’09 attendees, conference organizers said Monday.
Included on the conference’s agenda of keynote speeches and panel discussions are forensic accountant and Madoff whistleblower Harry Markpolos, pollster Allan Gregg, futurist Richard Worzel, Asian market expert Dr Yuwa Hendrick-Wong, security expert Chris Mathers, and marketing guru Terry O’Reilly, each offering delegates their personal insights and future projections.
Professionals working in or with the investment funds industry are invited to attend the two-day conference, which has been designed to address the needs of investment funds companies, as well as fund dealers, financial advisors and planners, regulatory and compliance officers, legal, accounting and consulting firms supporting Canada’s investment funds industry.
