Invesco Trimark Wednesday announced the addition of Michael Hatcher and Jeff Feng to its Trimark global equities team.

Joining as vice president, Hatcher has over 13 years of investment management experience. He most recently held the position of vice president at Burgundy Asset Management Ltd. where he focused on European equities.

Feng joins the organization as vice president and has over 10 years of investment management experience. Feng also most recently worked at Burgundy, where he was vice president, EAFE Equities.

“Michael brings strong European expertise, while Jeff brings extensive Asia-Pacific experience. The two also bring an investment philosophy and process that fits very well with the Trimark discipline,” says Graham Anderson, chief investment officer at Invesco Trimark.

Adams to retire at year’s end

Invesco Trimark also announced that after almost 25 years in investment management, Judith Adams will be retiring at the end of the year. “We wish Judith well and thank her for her long service and many contributions to the organization and the industry,” says Anderson.

Feng, Hatcher and Darren McKiernan will join Adams on Trimark International Companies Fund during a transition period to the end of the year, after which they will manage the fund. McKiernan, who joined Invesco Trimark in August 2009, also formerly worked at Burgundy Asset Management.

Hatcher also joins Dana Love as co-manager on Trimark Europlus Fund and Feng will work alongside McKiernan on Trimark Global Dividend Class.

Hatcher graduated with an MSc in Econometrics & Mathematical Economics from the London School of Economics & Political Science and a Master’s degree in Mathematical Finance from the University of Toronto. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.

Feng graduated with a BA in Finance from Xiamen University in China and an MBA from Richard Ivey School of Business. He also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.

McKiernan graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree in Finance from the University of Manitoba. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.

The changes to Trimark International Companies Fund also apply to Trimark EAFE Equity Private Pool.
