Independent financial planning firm Berkshire Investment Group Inc. announced Tuesday that it has signed a license agreement with x.eye inc, for their wealth management software — x.eye.wealth.manager.
Berkshire, which administers more than $5.3 billion in investment assets has licensed the software for use on 500 desktops. For x.eye, Berkshire is the first independent financial planning firm to license its software.
The software provides Berkshire with the ability to provide holistic wealth management to their clients through integrated relationship and portfolio management tools. Berkshire advisors will be able to provide improved service through consolidated client portfolios, stronger back office integration, as well as seamless e-mail integration and synchronization.
Berkshire has licensed three key modules of: relationship, portfolio and library. The integration between the relationship and portfolio modules provides Berkshire advisors the ability to track inter-relationships between clients, prospects, referral sources and other related contacts. Additionally, Berkshire advisors will be able to view all clients’ holdings and co-ordinate, execute and track all their interactions in one central database. The software also allows advisors to track all of a client’s assets and liabilities — including insurance holdings — and provide a complete, comprehensive view of that client’s net-worth.
“We are very pleased to expand into the financial planning arena,” says Ken Roebuck, co-president, x.eye inc. “x.eye.wealth.manager dovetails nicely into Berkshire’s current environment to offer a fully integrated customer relationship and wealth management platform”.
“Berkshire is committed to the independent planning community and this commitment is evident with our contract with x.eye” said
“Providing Berkshire advisors with tools and resources that enhance their relationship with their clients empowers the seasoned Berkshire advisor to achieve a higher level of accomplishment in their business. We are very excited about our new relationship with x.eye and the impact this will have on Berkshire advisors,” says Frank Laferriere, chief operating officer and CFO, Berkshire Securities Inc. and Berkshire Investment Group Inc.
