Epost, the online mail delivery service for Canada Post, today announced the launch of its new consolidated service designed to bring more mail electronically to Canadians across the country.
Canadians can now access over 200 different electronic documents, including bills, statements and more, from 100 different companies including utilities, cable providers, phone companies, retailers, credit card companies and financial institutions.
The new service — the result of the acquisition of rival webdoxs in July 2004 — has created a unified electronic mail delivery service for Canada.
Through this free service, Canadian consumers can now receive 70% of all their household bills online.
Consumers will be able to register for and access their mail through their major financial institution’s online banking site or through epost.ca.
“We believe that Canadians want one location where they can access and manage all of their bills and other important documents quickly and easily,” says Roger Couldrey, President and CEO of epost.
“Here in Canada, over 11 million consumers are already banking online. With the new epost service, Canadians that pay their bills online can now electronically receive those same bills securely and conveniently from almost any online banking website or from epost.ca.”
