The Alberta Securities Commission today released its decision banning a former securities broker for 10 years, and ordering him to pay a $10,000 fine for unauthorized discretionary trading.
Christopher Stewart faced an ASC panel in February 2005.The panel found he had conducted unauthorized discretionary trading of Wenzel Downhole Tools Ltd. shares through the accounts of two of his clients, between February 1998 and June 2000.
Stewart was also ordered to pay $5,000 towards the ASC’s costs.
