Canada has permanently banned a Winnipeg investment advisor for misappropriating funds.
A hearing panel found that Irene Judt, who worked at the Winnipeg office of Carpathia Credit Union as an investment advisor, and at Credential Securities Inc. as a registered mutual funds representative, was misappropriating funds from her clients and employers.
The hearing panel imposed a permanent prohibition from approval in any registered capacity with a member of the association as well as a $7,500 fine and $5,000 in association costs.
