Investment Dealer Raymond James Ltd. announced on Wednesday the hiring of two new professionals in its investment banking division.
Gregg Delcourt is rejoining Raymond James as managing director of the firm’s Calgary-based Energy Investment Banking team. Delcourt had previously worked at Raymond James and spent the past three years at a competitor firm.
“We are very excited to welcome Gregg back to Raymond James,” said Jason Holtby, senior managing director and head of investment banking. “He is widely respected throughout the energy industry and brings a multi-dimensional skill set. While focusing primarily on serving Canadian-based exploration and production companies, Gregg will also tackle certain Alberta-based special situations.”
The firm also continues to build its Canadian Mergers and Acquisitions strengths with the hiring of Wes Zimmerman. Prior to joining Raymond James, Zimmerman was a member of the mid-market mergers and acquisitions group at a Canadian bank-owned investment dealer.
“Wes is a welcome addition to our team,” said Jeremy Rakusin, managing director of investment banking and head of mergers and acquisitions at Raymond James. “Our focus is to continue to build out our domestic and cross border M&A expertise within the firm. Wes will play a key role in helping us achieve our strategic goals as well as deepening relationships with our Canadian corporate clients.”
