Fidelity Investments Canada Ltd. has simplified the names of a number of its funds to clarify its fund lineup and make it easier for investors and advisors to understand and identify the funds.

Effective with prospectus renewal in September 2002, the changes affect only the names themselves and do not in anyway affect the management of these funds or their investment objectives.

The Fidelity Disciplined Equity Fund will be renamed Fidelity Canadian Disciplined Equity Fund to more clearly reflect the Canada-only content of the fund. The class version in Fidelity Capital Structure Corp. becomes Fidelity Canadian Disciplined Equity Class.

The Fidelity European Growth Fund becomes Fidelity Europe Fund to align the name with Fidelity’s other regional funds. The RSP version becomes Fidelity RSP Europe Fund and the class version in Fidelity Capital Structure Corp. becomes Fidelity Europe Class.

The Fidelity Japanese Growth Fund becomes Fidelity Japan Fund also to align with other regional funds in the line-up. The RSP version becomes Fidelity RSP Japan Fund and the class version in Fidelity Capital Structure Corp. becomes Fidelity Japan Class.

The Fidelity Latin American Growth Fund becomes Fidelity Latin America Fund and Fidelity Emerging Markets Portfolio Fund will become Fidelity Emerging Markets Fund.
