HSBC Investment Funds (Canada) Inc., manager of the HSBC Mutual Funds, has launched a Premium Series for its Canadian Money Market and its U.S. Dollar Money Market Funds.

The Premium Series is expected to deliver a higher yield than the Investor Series of the funds by offering lower management fees. The Premium Series of the HSBC Canadian Money Market and HSBC U.S. Dollar Money Market Funds is available through HSBC Canada and independent investment advisors. It is suitable for investors with a short-term investment horizon who have a minimum of $100,000 to invest.

The new series aims to achieve diversification of assets and provide a high level of monthly interest income while preserving capital through investing primarily in high-quality, short-term fixed income securities.
