Talvest Fund Management today launched Talvest Global Resource Fund. The fund offers investors an opportunity to participate in the long-term growth potential of the resource sector.
The launch will be followed by a merger of the Talvest Canadian Resource Fund with the Talvest Global Resource Fund following the close of business today. This merger was approved earlier by unitholders.
Lead manager of the fund will be Stephen Carlin, vice president, Canadian equities at KBSH Capital Management, the current manager of Talvest Canadian Resource Fund.
