Tom Kloet, retired CEO and executive director, TMX Group, Ltd., will serve as chairman of the board of all Nasdaq’s U.S. exchange boards, New York City-based exchange operator Nasdaq, Inc. announced Friday.
He also serves on the Nasdaq, Inc. board.
As well, Nasdaq announced the addition of numerous directors to the boards of various exchanges, in the wake of its acquisition of International Securities Exchange (ISE) on June 30.
Sixteen directors have been added to the boards of the International Securities Exchange, LLC and ISE Gemini, LLC, 15 directors are being added to the board of ISE Mercury, LLC, and seven directors have been added to the boards of the Nasdaq Stock Market LLC, Nasdaq PHLX LLC and Nasdaq BX, Inc. Directors serve a one-year term.
