United Financial Corp.’s annual Window on the Market event will take place this year between February 4 and 7 in eight cities across Canada.

The event sees leading portfolio managers provide their perspectives on the markets.

“Window on the Market is an extremely popular event for advisors and clients, as it gives them an opportunity to hear first-hand from some of the finest portfolio managers in North America,” said Joe Canavan, chairman and CEO of United Financial. “The managers will present their views on the markets, their outlook for the year ahead and how they have positioned their portfolios. The event gives participants valuable insight into the current investment climate.”

Christopher Nikolich, senior vice-president and lead portfolio manager at AllianceBernstein, Daniel Bubis, president and CIO at Tetrem Capital Management and Andrew Waight, principal and portfolio manager at Altrinsic Global Advisors will present on February 4 in Saskatoon, February 5 in Edmonton, February 6 in Burnaby, B.C., and February 7 in Calgary.

Joe Jugovic, vice-president of investments and portfolio manager at QV Investors, David Runkle, director of quantitative research at Trilogy Global Advisors and David Picton, president, CIO and portfolio manager North American equities at Picton Mahoney Asset Management, will present on February 4 in Halifax, February 5 in Montreal, February 6 in Mississauga, Ont., and February 7 in Winnipeg.
