Manulife Investments is introducing a new series of principal protected deposit notes that has access to world-class investment managers and can generate potential returns based on exposure to equity markets.
RBC Manulife Investments Global Balanced Plus Deposit Notes is an investment offering issued by Royal Bank of Canada that is tied to the performance of three funds: Mawer World Investment Fund; Manulife Strategic Income Fund; and Manulife Canadian Core Fund.
The deposit notes provide a principal amount guarantee by RBC as issuer.

The notes employ a dynamic asset allocation strategy providing notional exposure to the underlying funds when performance is positive and reduced exposure to the funds when performance is negative.
The Yield Notes (Series 1 & 4) offer a 100% principal amount guaranteed at maturity, and monthly coupon payments equivalent to 5.04% annually.
The Return of Capital Notes (Series 2 & 5) offer a 100% principal amount guaranteed over the term of the deposit note, and monthly principal repayments equivalent to 5.04% annually.
The Total Return Notes (Series 3 & 6) offer a 100% principal amount guaranteed at maturity.
The deposit notes are sold by advisors licensed by the Investment Dealers Association of Canada as well as licensed mutual fund dealers.
Series 1, 2 and 3 of the notes are available for purchase until February 15. Series 4, 5 and 6 of are available for purchase until April 4.
