Elliott & Page Limited has announced the removal of portfolio sub-advisor for the Elliott & Page Canadian Equity Fund.

Effective immediately, MFC Global Investment Management, a division of Elliott & Page, will assume direct investment responsibility for the Fund, previously undertaken by Altamira Management Ltd.

Shauna Sexsmith , in her new capacity as VP and senior portfolio manager of MFC Global will continue her role as lead portfolio manager on the fund.

Sexsmith will continue to manage the fund using a top-down approach to identify themes for the portfolio and identify trends in the business cycle. Shauna then uses a traditional, bottom-up growth-based approach to security selection, combining an evaluation of quality, valuations and quantitative analysis, all of which will emphasize this fund’s position within Elliott & Page’s mutual fund lineup.
