Toronto-based Horizons Exchange Traded Funds Inc. Friday announced it will be terminating two exchange traded funds (ETFs) at the close of business on Friday, May 31.
The ETFs being terminated are:
- Horizons BetaPro US Dollar Bull Plus ETF (TSX:HDU); and
- Horizons BetaPro US Dollar Bear Plus ETF (TSX:HDD)
Effective immediately, no further direct subscriptions for units of the terminated ETFs will be accepted.
Monday, May 27 is expected to be the last date on which a redemption request may be placed with the manager, Horizons ETFs Management (Canada) Inc.
The terminated ETFs are expected to be de-listed from the Toronto Stock Exchange at the close of business on Tuesday, May 28, with all units still held by investors being subject to a mandatory redemption at that time.
