Ticoon Technology Inc. today announced that it has successfully launched its desktop advisor solution for Rice Financial Group Inc. as part of a multi-year agreement.

The Ticoon system can integrate investment, insurance, banking and other financial data from virtually any source and present it comprehensively in customized views for users. It lets users across the value chain consolidate, view and configure data from multiple, disparate sources within a single, secure, compliant platform.

Ticoon is hosting the client management application on a software-as-a-service basis for Rice Financial, the company said in a release.

Advisors for Rice Financial are now benefiting from a sophisticated front office suite. In the near future, Rice will be rolling out Ticoon’s investor portal to provide enhanced service to clients.

“Ticoon is the leading front office solution in the marketplace and our advisors now have a significant advantage,” said Dave Velanoff, chief executive officer of Rice Financial Group Inc. “We believe that our partnership with Ticoon will play a key role in achieving the growth targets we’ve set for our company.”

“With more than 85,000 clients across the country, Rice Financial is a significant player in the marketplace. Our partnership with them is a tremendous opportunity to strengthen Ticoon’s leadership in the financial services industry and demonstrate how our solution significantly raises the bar over competitors for both advisor support and customer service,” said Rick Hyde, president and CEO of Ticoon, in a release.

Toronto-based Ticoon announced a similar deal with Manulife Financial Corp. in February.
