Robin Lacey will take on the role of managing director and head of Toronto-based Bank of Nova Scotia’s (TSX:BNS) Global Institutional Asset Management in April, Scotiabank Global Wealth Management said Thursday.

Most recently, Lacey held the position of vice chairman at Toronto-based TD Asset Management Inc. He has over 25 years experience in the institutional investment management industry, specifically in business and product development, sales, marketing and senior management.

The managing director position is a newly created role within Scotiabank’s wealth management executive team. Lacey will officially step into the role on April 15.
