JovFunds Management Inc. today announced the appointment of Adam Felesky as CEO of JovFunds, and Howard Atkinson as managing partner of JovFunds and president of JovFunds Inc., the sales and distribution subsidiary of JovFunds.
Steven Hawkins, managing partner at JovFunds since July 2006 and president of JovInvestment Management Inc., the investment management subsidiary of JovFunds, will continue on in his current positions.
Kevin Beatson, managing director at JovFunds since February 2007 is now appointed chief operating officer.
Felesky and Atkinson join JovFunds from BetaPro Management Inc. where they will continue in their current capacities as CEO and president, respectively.

Prior to becoming a founding principal of BetaPro, Felesky worked for a U.S.-based global macro hedge fund manager, Bradbrooke Capital Inc., J.P. Morgan’s fixed income derivatives group in New York, J.P. Morgan Canada and CIBC World Markets.
Atkinson has 20 years of investment management industry experience, including positions with a national investment dealer and major mutual fund companies. Prior to joining BetaPro, Atkinson was responsible for business development of the exchange traded products business at Barclays Global Investors Canada Ltd.. He is the immediate past president of Toronto CFA Society board of directors and is a member of the S&P/TSX Canada index advisory panel.
JovFunds manages and distributes in excess of $1.4 billion in client assets and is a member of the Jovian Capital Corp. group of companies.
