RBC Insurance is today announced the appointment of Shane Corcoran to the position of regional director, Prairie Region for the life and health division of RBC Insurance.
In his new position, Corcoran will work with distributors and manage a team of sales consultants in Northern Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba.
Corcoran comes to the position with 18 years of sales experience at RBC Insurance. Most recently, he was a senior account executive responsible for individual disability insurance.
“We are certain our distributors will continue to benefit from Shane’s extensive experience and understanding of the industry,” said Neil Paton, vice president, Third Party Distribution, RBC Insurance, in a release. “Shane’s depth of knowledge of life and health insurance and RBC Insurance specifically makes him an ideal fit for this role.”
Shane will be based in the company’s Edmonton office.
