Goldman Sachs announced today that its electronic trading platform, REDIPlus, has been expanded to serve clients in Asia and Canada.
The firm has partnered with Toronto-based Markets Inc. in an initiative that integrates Markets Inc.’s BlockBook block-trading platform into REDIPlus. “This is one step toward
combining electronic, anonymous block trading, algorithmic trading, and direct market access into an integrated, seamless workflow,” said Greg Tusar, head of U.S. electronic trading.
REDIPlus also now provides access to over a dozen Asian equities and futures exchanges and includes the full suite of global algorithmic capabilities to complement its existing offering for North American and European clients.
“With this global expansion, we are in a unique position to offer clients a single desktop tool for trading across multiple regions,” said Tusar.
