Dominion Bond Rating Service has appointed a new head for its structured finance CDO group.
Manroop Jhooty , who was also appointed senior vice president, will be responsible for the overall operation of the CDO group, with a focus on growing North American business. He will report to Huston Loke, assistant group managing director and global head of structured finance.
“I look forward to working with the CDO group to take our message of conservative assumptions and structuring to investors, bankers, and issuers,” says Jhooty, adding that “we plan to build on our platform of innovation and strong analytics to service our clients”.
Jhooty is taking on the role previously held by Mark Adams, who will be leaving to pursue other professional and personal interests.
Prior to his time at DBRS, Jhooty was involved with mergers and acquisitions at a consulting firm.
