Manulife Mutual Funds has announced a change in investment responsibility for the Elliott & Page Equity Fund. It is replacing PCJ Investment Counsel as the sub-advisor of the fund.
Effective December 13, PCJ will no longer act as sub-advisor. Under the direction of Shauna Sexsmith as lead manager, MFC Global Investments Management (Canada) will provide all investment advisory services for the fund. PCJ Investment Counsel will continue to act as sub-advisor for the E&P Sector Rotation Fund.
“We are making these changes as part of our ongoing efforts to provide a strong yet streamlined family of investment funds that is as current to the needs of investors and their advisors as possible” said Eric Grove, vice president, investment funds for Manulife Financial.
MFC Global is a division of Elliott & Page Ltd. and is a member of the MFC Investment Management Group of Companies. Based primarily in North America, the firm has investment operations in London, Tokyo, Hong Kong, and Southeast Asia. The firm more than $72 billion in assets under management as of September 30.
