Talvest Fund Management announced today that Luc de la Durantaye will be the head of the TAL Global Asset Management’s Asset Allocation Team responsible for managing Talvest Cdn. Asset Allocation Fund, Talvest Cdn. Asset Allocation Seg Fund, Talvest Global Asset Allocation RSP Fund, Talvest Global RSP Fund and Talvest Global RSP Seg Fund.

This team also manages the tactical asset allocation component of Synchrony Portfolios.

De la Durantaye will replace Maxime-Jean Gérin. The appointment of de la Durantaye, effective December 18, reflects an emphasis on quantitative modeling and team- based decision-making in determining the best asset allocation strategy for the Talvest Funds.

A Chartered Financial Analyst, de la Durantaye has over 17 years of asset allocation and investment management experience. His leadership skills and in-depth understanding of financial markets will enhance TAL’s Global Asset Allocation Team in the quantitative aspects of its asset mix calls for the Talvest Funds.
