Martin Gagnon, executive vice president of wealth management at Montreal-based National Bank of Canada, is joining the board of directors at Fiera Capital Corp., also of Montreal.
Gagnon, who is also co-president and co-CEO of National Bank Financial Ltd., the bank’s brokerage subsidiary, will take the place of Louis Vachon, president and CEO of National Bank. Vachon joined Fiera’s board of directors in 2012 following the sale of National Bank’s Natcan Portfolio Management Inc. to Fiera.
“We are delighted to welcome Martin Gagnon as a director of Fiera Capital,” says Jean-Guy Desjardins, Fiera’s chairman and CEO, in a statement. “At the same time, we would like to thank Louis Vachon for his contribution and dedication as a director of the corporation over the last four years.”
