Dynamic Funds has appointed Jennifer Stevenson to vice president & portfolio manager, energy, the fund group said Wednesday.
Upon receiving regulatory approval as a portfolio manager,. Stevenson will assume the roles of lead manager of Dynamic Global Energy Class and co-manager of Dynamic Energy Income Fund. Dynamic Funds are managed by Goodman & Company, Investment Counsel Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of DundeeWealth Inc.

In addition to her primary fund mandates, Stevenson will also provide valuable energy sector insights to Dynamic’s equity income team from the company’s Calgary office.
Stevenson brings more than 20 years of experience in the energy sector to her new position. Most recently, she held the role of managing director, portfolio management at the Calgary office of Qwest Investment Fund Management Corp. where she was responsible for the identification and selection of oil and gas investment opportunities. Stevenson also has a wealth of energy investment banking experience that includes a senior position with Dundee Capital Markets, a division of DundeeWealth. Furthermore, she draws on experience from previous positions at leading Canadian oil and gas producers and suppliers.
Stevenson has an Advanced Certificate in Petroleum Land Contract Administration. She has a Masters in Business Administration in Finance from the University of Alberta and a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Marketing and Finance from the University of Calgary.
