Toronto-based Horizons ETFs Management (Canada) Inc. has completed the conversion of all its Canadian-listed ETFs’ advisor-class units to common-class units.
In December, Horizons ETFs announced its plans to eliminate these advisor-class units in response to advisors’ increasing shift away from commissions-based models toward fee-based compensation.
As a result of this completed move, affected unitholders will see a decrease in their annual management fees.
A full list of the impacted ETFs, the corresponding fee changes and other details is included in the firm’s news release.
